MetaBrainz is the tax-exempt non-profit I've created
for MusicBrainz. I serve
as the executive director of the foundation, running day-to-day
operations while still playing the role of lead-geek of MusicBrainz.

MusicBrainz is a collaborative open database which stores music
metadata. This project allows the internet community to uniquely
identify a digital piece of music and look up related information such
as title, artist, album, etc. MusicBrainz allows users to look up
information about CDs as well as individual MP3s/Ogg Vorbis files.

Zinf is an open source MP3 player with a themed interface and an
intelligent playlist/music collection manager. Zinf plays
MP3/Ogg Vorbis files and Audio
CDs. Zinf is based on the now defunct FreeAmp audio player. Unfortunately
I don't have much time to dedicate to Zinf at the moment, as much of my time
goes to MusicBrainz.

Obsequeium was the first network based streaming MP3 jukebox. This
open source project allows users to organize their MP3 collection
on one Linux box, and then access the jukebox via a standard web
browser. Obseqieum can stream content via RTP/Multicast or via
HTTP/icecast and the user can check music into and retrieve music
from the server remotely via the network.
