Berlin wall fragments
Berlin wall display at Potsdamer Platz.
Wind mill
I shot this picture on the train between Hamburg and Berlin. The trees were up close and thus blurred out, but the tower was quite a bit further away, so it remained clear.
Mystery Picture
Before I post the next series, I'll give you this picture to ponder. This one is a bit easier than the previous ones, I think. What do you think it is?
Old school S-Bahn Trains
On the way to the airport I spotted these two old school S-Bahn trains from Hamburg. I remember the wooden benches in the beige/bluishgreen trains -- classy, yet ghetto at the same time.

TP'ed Bus
Some of Greg's students decided to TP the bus. Nicely done too -- that's a fair chunk of clear plastic wrap.

Bar deco
This unnamed bar in the Schanze has one of these old coin operated hot food vending machines. Except they put art into theirs.
Speicherstadt
A night time shot of the Hamburg Hafen Speicherstadt. Back before the age of the container, this is where all cargo was stored and turned around to go back out to other ports. But today most of the cargo goes via containers that can be loaded and unloaded much faster.
What's this?
Next in my series of what's this pictures: What's this? Leave a comment and guess!
Hafen City -- Trippy
Not sure how I managed this one, but its also from the Hafen City. Ostensibly.

Hafen City 4
Another shot from a bride overlooking Hafen City.
Real Hamburg port
This is a view from Hamburg Hafen City onto the actual port where ships, not computers matter.
Hafen City secret spot 2
This is the sout-west view from the secret spot.
Hafen City secret spot 1
This is a little known spot in Hamburg Hafen City with a great view of the Elbe river. This is the northwest view.

Landungsbruecken 2
Second shot of Landungsbruecken. This is the place where ferries dock and take on and let off their passengers.
Landungsbruecken 1
One shot of the famous landungsbruecken.

Blohm & Voss Dock
A dock right across the Elbe from the famous Landungsbruecken.
Michel and Gruner & Jahr
The St. Michaelis in the background of Gruner & Jahr and the U3.
Angela? Nein danke
Found on a magazine rack in Hamburg. A little late now.
A330
Just a shot of a random A330 in Frankfurt.
FRA Airport tunnel
This cool tunnel changes colors as you walk through it. Very nifty!

Fuchs
One shot of Björn since we wasn't looking at the camera for the group shot.
Intermediate Schema Diagram
This is a snapshot of the schema in progress. By the time we got to this point, we had done a number of revisions. Before the summit was over we did enough changes to make this picture look totally outdated.
Summit Conference Room
We rented a conference room so we could work in peace in a suitable environment. The fancy whiteboard saved us much time as we could flip between two sides and print out arbitrary copies. The space was well worth it!
Summit Group Picture
I was distracting everyone when I was taking pictures. But hey, someone had to do it, right?
