Fig leaf
This is the underside of a fig leaf -- almost cool enough to be an Apple desktop picture. :-)
Cactus bud
Check out the ant cruising on this cactus bud. Did I mention that I like the macro focus?
Seed pods (w/ spider)
I'm not sure what kind of plant this is, but the seed pods certainly look cool. Check out the little spider protecting his turf near the base of the pod.

Bee/wasp close up
I'm not sure if this is a bee or a wasp, but you can see it slurping the pollen off its antennae. There are some polen clumps on the back too -- did I mention I really like this new camera?
Fig Tree
The fig tree is going gang-busters this year, and all the green figs looks like alien pods on the tree. Quite photogenic depth-of-field excercise, no?
