Der Spiegel Cafeteria
The news magazine Der Spiegel, which sports its traditional orange color is right across the street from where Andre (and I this week) lives.
Their cafeteria is right on the corner and brightly lit up at night -- way cool looking if you like orange and retro. Hell if you don't. I'm in love. :-)
Colombo Express
The Colombo Express is the largest container ship in the world. Right here the ship is entering the port of Hamburg taking the Koehlbrand branch of the Elbe rive en route to the container terminal where its maiden voyage comes to an end.
Its really impressive how such a large ship can make its way 8 hours down a river to an inland container terminal. Just plain amazing!
