DRM
DRM is going, going...
While its not totally gone yet, its certainly on the way out: Puretracks ditches DRM. (Or is in the process of ditching it -- the site doesn't seem to show the MP3s yet)
Is this the beginning of the end of DRM?
Let's hope so. Last year I blogged about the music industry stifling innovation and I believe that DRM is a big part of that. The lack of interoperability kills off a number of opportunities for smaller companies to create new services that work with people's music collections. If interoperability increases because people are ditching DRM, then there is a chance that we'll see a new crop of companies taking advantage of a more level playing field.
Let's see how this shakes out.

Good company and good discourse are the very sinews of virtue.
My friends are my estate.
My home is not a place, it is people.
Listen. Do not have an opinion while you listen because frankly, your opinion doesn?t hold much water outside of Your Universe. Just listen. Listen until their brain has been twisted like a dripping towel and what they have to say is all over the floor.
