Aaron Cooper, a MusicBrainz contributor, posted this link on how to criticize a developer. Its short simple and right on the money on how to give feedback to a developer -- these tips even apply outside the open source world.

I wish more people would take this to heart -- I'm not sure why some people in the open source world feel that they have the right to insult people's work that they have made available to others for free. But it happens all the time -- sad.
