Stuff I missed

The following is a bunch of stuff that I missed while I was incommunicado in the desert. I suppose this is more for my benefit than yours -- I do use my blog as a tool for finding links to important pages. So, please excuse my selfishness for a moment:

• BMI posts record year, despite music industry doom and gloom. The record companies are still full of shit.
• P2P-Radio: A P2P streaming solution like the much touted, but never completed Alluvium. MusicBrainz + CreativeCommons License Info + P2P Radio = Nirvana. Someday I will get around to making that happen.
• MSN Music Downloads in beta. Windows only. Yawn.
• Apple iTunes Affiliate Program. I'll have to get MusicBrainz hooked up with that once the non-profit is established.
• HP starts selling its version of the iPod. At least this new device does not further fragment the market.
• Bikes Against Bush. This guy built a bike with a simple dot-matrix like printer that is remote controllable that prints with water soluable chalk. Way cool! What happens? He got arrested! Surprise -- you live in a police state! Also check out his demo of the bike.
