RIAA threat causes drop in filesharing

It seems like the RIAA's intimidation campaign is working -- Netratings is reporting a 15% drop in use since the end of June. This could be seasonal behaviour -- the weather has been nice since the end of June, so who knows.

Plus, the filesharing community has a short attention span -- once the noise about the lawsuits stops, the numbers will go back up again.
