RIAA sues Verizon to hand over names of file traders
The RIAA takes the next step in the great cat and mouse game. Suing the ISPs to get the names and addresses of file traders is their next move, but the ambigous DMCA isn't clear enough for the judge to make an easy ruling. Hopefully the courts will take apart the DMCA and protect the individual users. I'd love to see the DMCA thrown out, but I'm not holding my breath.
